Insurrection is a vanilla Minecraft server based on our experiences with prison servers of the past. If you're a player wondering what happened to that old experience you once cherished, (as we were when looking for a proper prison server,) then this is for you. If you are new to the authentic prison server experience, please come join us!

You start off as a Thrall with nothing to your name. You are a low level grunt in a run-down labor prison run by merciless cultist guards. Your captors work for a dark entity of many names, an omnipresent power that corrupts the very earth and stone that make up the prison.Climb the ranks by selling valuable goods obtained by honest work or by slaying other prisoners to get their loot! Use the economy system to buy your way up the prison ladder, getting access to more valuable ores and items. Team up with friends to best the well-armed guards in combat to get their valuable gear. Explore themed prison blocks and always watch your back-- you never know when another player is poised to stab you in the back.
