The Lotus SMP is a server created for those who desire the long-term vanilla Minecraft multiplayer experience. Whether you be an anarchist, a builder, or just enjoying the game with friends, there is something for everyone here. There are a few restrictions in place, please see the #rules channel for more details. These restrictions exist to help enrich the multiplayer experience, examples include: making items more valued and coveted than in a pure vanilla world, limiting travel to see what creative ways players can find to get around quicker, and making PVP more skill-oriented without end crystals. We've also made the search for bases much more worthwhile and interesting, without access to Shulker Boxes, griefing a base will yield much better loot, so be crafty and hide your valuables well. And lastly, the world border is only 10k, and is rarely expanded! Expect players around every corner, keeping you on your toes.
