The Blindcraft SMP is a family friendly, building, and event focused server that is currently populated by real life friends and family from the Military/home. Our main focus is to have the game be as vanilla as possible, however to have a safer and more enjoyable server, we have to have plugins/datapacks. We have been doing a lot of work on the server side to make things friendly for an open whitelist outside of our network and would love to get more people in on the fun!
The server is based out of Washington on a dedicated server of one of our Admins with maximum fiber optic connection.
We are currently in 1.17.1 and plan on updating to 1.18. We are not currently sure how we're going to do this, if the update allows for a smooth transfer without having to reset the server, then we will do that.
Our Whitelist request is on our forums which is posted on this page, we will be taking requests seriously and will not allow anyone to join that appears to have ill intentions. The rules are posted on our forums and in game as soon as you sign on for the first time.
WHITELIST REQUESTS MAY TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS DUE TO BUSY LIVES.
Some of the implementations/plugins that we currently have are:
Dynmap - a 3D and 2D live in game map.
GriefPrevention - Claim your own land and gain claims the longer you play, you are protected in your claims and no one can use nor destroy anything inside of it.
Minepacks - A way to make the awful vanilla inventory more manageable.
MobsToEggs - This was decided by a staff vote to prevent long lines of minecarts, etc. that may or may not get cleaned up, it is mostly easier transfer of mobs.
Quickshop - Create a shop to sell or buy items that is protected to only you.
XConomy - An economy system that works with Quickshop for buying and selling items. There is a diamond/netherite conversion in the shopping district.
Apiarist Suit - When wearing this, bees will not attack you.
Armored Elytra - Fuse your Elytra with your chestplate to have more armor while flying.
Double Shulker Shells - Shulkers will drop two shells with every kill.
Elevator - Use a netherite block on the same X and Z but different Y to teleport up and down using jump and crouch.
Fast Leaf Decay
Multiplayer Sleep - Only one player needs to sleep.
